A Philippine Visa is an endorsement made on a travel document by a consular officer at a Philippine Embassy or Consulate abroad denoting that the visa application has been properly examined and that the bearer is permitted to proceed to the Philippines and request permission from the Philippine Immigration authorities at the ports of entries to enter the country.
The visa thus issued is not a guarantee that the holder will be automatically admitted into the country. The admission of foreign nationals into the Philippines is a function of the immigration authorities at the port of entry.

For crew members of a vessel arriving at a port of the Philippines from any country
Requirements for 9(C) Seaman Visa:
The Crew List Visa is issued for the entire crew of a registered vessel or aircraft landing in the Philippines. Personnel on the aircraft or vessel whose names are not included in the crew list visa or not possessing a valid individual Philippine entry visa will not be allowed to enter the Philippines.

The Crew List Visa application is downloadable from the Consulate’s website. The application form is a digital MS-EXCEL file which has 2 tabs, i.e.
(a) the Details of the Vessel and the journey to the Philippines, and
(b) complete list of names and details of crew members and passengers.

The Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV) is a special non-immigrant visa for foreign nationals who would like to make the Philippines their second home or investment destination.

Qualifications:
Principal applicants must be foreign nationals or former Filipino citizens who are at least 50 years old.
Dependent spouse must be legally married to the principal retiree.
Children must be legitimate or legally adopted by the principal retiree, unmarried, and below 21 years old upon joining the program.
Requirements:
1. Original valid Passport with valid /updated Temporary Visitor’s Visa;
3. Original valid Medical Clearance;
4. Original valid Police Clearance from country of origin, and an additional NBI Clearance, if applicant has stayed in the Philippines for over 30 days from last date of entry;
5. Photos (8 pieces, 2″x2″);
6. SRRV deposit that is inwardly remitted;
7. Marriage Certificate for joining dependent-spouse Birth Certificate for joining dependent-child.
Additional requirements may be requested depending on the SRRV Option to be chosen by the SRRV applicant. The Medical and Police Clearances are valid up to six months from date of issuance. All documents issued outside of the Philippines must be translated in English, if necessary, and authenticated by the Philippine embassy/consulate nearest the applicant’s residence.
